We're back!

We had an AWESOME campmeeting this year! We all had a wonderful time hanging out with friends, family, and learning more about God! We got back home today and just crashed when we walked in we were so tired. Campmeeting is a lot of fun but it's also a non-stop week of going and going plus the awlful heat so we were ready for a nap!

I've been trying to decide all week how I wanted to post our pictures. Since we use this blog as a scrapbook of our memories, I thought that I would do a play by play everyday this week of what we did that day last week. Make sense? So, for instance, I'll start off this post on Sunday since that was our first day at the campground. Hopefully, I'll find time every night to post about what we did that day (last week).

So, here it goes. Last Sunday started off our campmeeting 2010. They had a gospel singing that night to start off the week. Caroline sat through about half of it...it's hard to keep her attention for a long period of time these days. Actually, the only pictures I have of that night are of her eating at her cool new picnic table that her grandma and grandaddy bought her. It's just her size and she loved it all week!

Since Blake and I had to work on Monday, we left late that night and came back home. Caroline stayed with my parents and had a spend the night party with her grandparents and her cousin Kendall.

Check back each night for a new update!

Fun Day!

Caroline and I had a fun day today hanging out together. We met up with some of my co-workers from my previous job at Relish in downtown Roswell. We had a lot of fun catching up since we haven't seen each other in awhile! Rich and Caroline loved meeting each other and running around together. They were so sweet when we left, they gave each other big hugs and Rich kissed Caroline's forehead! Too bad I didn't get any pictures of me and my friends...guess we were too busy chasing the kids!

After lunch, Caroline and I ran a few errands and then came home for naps. After napping, we started packing and getting ready for campmeeting. I'm such a heavy packer. I never know what I want to take so I just take it all! I usually only end up wearing half of what I bring but you never know what you might need!

Here's some funny pictures of Caroline after her bath tonight. She LOVES staring and talking to herself in front of the mirror. We have a little diva on our hands!

I probably won't be blogging much next week but will be sure to take plently of pictures from our trip to update when we get back!

Throwing fits and Vacation!

I took these pictures last week but forgot to post them. We've been seeing a lot more of these "fits" lately. I think the terrible two's are approaching us fast! Don't get me wrong...there's plenty of sweet moments with this sweet girl but we are now getting a taste of how good her lungs are and how great she can throw herself down when she doesn't get her way. Oh my! I think in these pictures she was mad because we had offered her milk and she didn't want it so she just fell to the ground and started crying. See what I mean??!! So, for the most part we ignore her...and once she realizes no one is paying her attention, then she stops and goes on with her life.

We are going to be off next week from work/daycare and I'm THRILLED! We are going to be in Cleveland all week at Campmeeting. I can't even tell you how excited I am about this. I've gone to campmeeting every year since I was Caroline's age and I can't wait to share the great memories that I have with Caroline. It will be a fun and awesome week with family and friends. I'm REALLY excited this year because the preacher that was with me when I got saved and who married Blake and I is going to be preaching. I love him and his family so much and can't wait to catch up with him and hear his sermons. I loved his sermons when he was my preacher (years ago) so I'm thrilled to hear him talk again. I've been counting down for this week to come for awhile now and it feels like this week cannot move any slower!! Funny how that works!

Birthday celebration!

We've been busy celebrating Blake's birthday the last couple of days! I had got him tickets to the Gwinnett Braves game for Thursday so after work we went to the game on a "date". We had debated about taking Caroline with us but after we thought of how much we would be up and down with her, listening to whining, changing diapers, etc we thought she would have more fun staying home with grandma and granddaddy! Plus, Blake and I couldn't even remember the last time we had done anything just the two of us so we were way over due! We had a blast. I think I like going to the minor league braves game more than the major league. I highly recommend it to anyone that likes baseball. We had great seats and it wasn't crowded at all so we were able to move to different seats throughout the game. Blake came very close to catching a foul ball and we had fun visiting with "Chopper"!

Here we are before we left.

Here's our friend Chopper! He kept squirting the crowd with a water gun! It felt good since it was almost 100 degrees outside!

We chased (literally)Chopper to get a picture with him. What can I say...we are kids at heart!

Last night Blake's parents came over to continue the celebration. We went to our favorite mexican restaurant...Chepe's. We had fun chatting at dinner, getting to see Blake get embarassed with a big party hat, and then eating a yummy cake!

Here's Blake and Caroline with his parents...

Daddy and Caroline..

Caroline was a bit impatient so she and Grammy walked around...

Miss cutie wondering when we can go in and eat!

Fun on the 4th!

We had a very relaxing 4th of July. We decided to spend the day in Cleveland with my family. We played outside in their backyard on the playground, took naps, and ate some delicious food!

This picture cracks me up. She was being so goofy and making silly faces!

The only family picture that we took. Caroline was holding our hands but of course let go as soon as the camera snapped. Oh well...we tried!

Caroline tried eating corn by herself for the first time. It took her a minute but she eventually figured it out!

Here's the flag cake that my mom makes every 4th of July. We found out yesterday that Caroline LOVES blueberry's. She was helping my mom make the cake during the day and kept eating the blueberry's. Too bad I didn't get a picture of her blue mouth!

We hope you all had a great 4th!

Happy 4th of July!

(I want to warn you that this post has a TON of pictures.)

We've been celebrating the 4th all weekend. Caroline had spirit day at daycare of Friday. Here she is all decked out in her red, white, & blue. She was watching Mickey Mouse before we left the house and in this picture she was dancing to one of the songs Mickey was singing!

Friday night we went to see the fireworks in Cumming...not sure why they did them 2 days early but they did and we had fun hanging out as a family! Caroline got a glow in the dark necklace and bracelet. She thought she was something! She loved running around and making new friends while we waited for it to get dark outside! Blake taught her how to catch lightening bugs...the only problem is she would squeeze them so hard they would die. We'll need to work on that!

Then this morning we went to a parade in Cumming. It was a steam engine parade and for the most part Caroline enjoyed it. It was a long parade (2 hours) so we left after an hour b/c we were all getting sun burned and Caroline was ready for a nap. Caroline had to wear ear plugs because the steam engines were soo loud.

Even though we've had so much fun the last 24 hours...I want to also remember why we are celebrating this holiday. I want to thank our troops for ALL they do so that we can have freedom in the USA. The troops and their families sacrifice a lot and for that I'm so grateful. God Bless all that you do for our country!
