Quick update

I promise we are all alive and well! I have had NO time to blog recently....what's new! I've thought about taking a blogging break and even giving it up all together but then I look back on posts when Caroline was smaller and enjoy reading what was going on so I think I'll continue. I just need to get better at blogging.

I haven't uploaded pictures from my camera since the 4th of July so no pictures tonight but it is on my agenda for this week! I wanted to give a quick update on how everything is going! I started my new job at the church about 4 weeks ago and I LOVE it. It's such an awesome job and I'm loving every minute of it. There's days where I'm having so much fun that it's hard to leave to go home! I love my team and everyone I work with. It's just such a blessing to actually enjoy what you do! I haven't had this in so long and am so excited that God opened this door for me! The other positive is the benefits of the job. Besides the fact that I got a Mac computer, great insurance and vacation time (yes I"m bragging!!!)...the best benefit is that Caroline goes to work with me and I can see her anytime of the day! She loves her new school and has done so well. Much better than I thought she would! I love her teachers and love that they send me text messages all day long of what she's doing and sends me pics so that I don't miss out on anything. So fun! Her teachers also love on her which makes it easier to do my job and not worry about her!

On another note, I think we have officially crossed the line and am in full blast with the terrible two's. I'm wondering where my sweet child went. Anyone else experience this??? My sweet, quiet, shy girl has opened up to a full blast screaming/pitching fit toddler. Blake and I keep wondering where we went wrong. It literally took the child over an hour to apologize after she got put in time out on Sunday. Talk about stubborn!!! If anything, we are learning how to have more patience with her. There are times when she tests us more than we want to be tested! And potty training.....isn't going well at all. Is there a potty training boot camp that I can send her too!!! lol.

4th of July weekend!

I was lucky enough to have Friday-Monday off so Caroline and I made the most of it! On Thursday night, we went to the pool as a family and then we went to get pizza! Such a fun night:)

I promise she's excited about going swimming...she was tired of me taking her picture!!

So brave going down the big slide. And each time she would say "do it again daddy"!!

On Friday, we had the busiest day ever! We got dressed and was out the door by 8:15am. We went to Caroline's daycare to get all of her things since she will start in her new daycare at the church on Tuesday. Then we went to get my hair done. It's always fun to try to keep up with a two year old while getting your hair fixed. Let's just say it's not the most relaxing time! Since we were close by my mom's work we stopped by there to visit her for a minute!

On the elevator. She wasn't too sure about it!

Of course, grandma spoiled her and got a kitty for her from the gift shop. She's yet to let go of that kitty all weekend!

Since it was my granny's birthday, we rode up to Cleveland to see her and to have lunch with her. Thanks granny for the yummy vegetables and for cooking on your birthday! We finally came home around 4:00pm, took naps, and then Blake's parents came over to visit little priss.

Saturday, we went to a Princess party for Isabella. I was so busy chasing Caroline around that I had no time to get the camera out! It was a cute party and Caroline had a blast!

On Sunday, we went to church, came home and took naps, went to eat at Chili's with frinds, and then went to watch the Cumming fireworks. Caroline had talked about the fireworks all day and of course when they started they scared her. But she quickly adjusted and had fun watching them! She talked about how big and loud they were all the way home!

Before Church.

At the fireworks!

Sweet MaKayla and Caroline!

Very tense while watching the fireworks...she didn't move a muscle! She held onto her soccer ball the entire time!

Thank you to all of the many brave soliders and their families that fight for our freedom everyday!!!

Happy 4th of July!!!
