October catch-up!

Halloween was a lot of fun this year! It's the first year that Caroline was actually into it and she got so excited about it! Of course, she wanted to be a princess. I was surprised when she picked "Snow White" but that's what she insisted on being so that's what we went with! She had a school parade on Tuesday and got a ton of candy!Her class is full of girls so there were several little princesses this year! On Wednesday we went to her friends house for some fun trick-or-treating!

And since it's been a month since I've posted anything...I thought I would post a few pictures of all of our fun that we had in October! It was a crazy month filled with jam packed weekends! We visited the Atlanta zoo for the first time! My employer paid for all staff to have a family day there and we really enjoyed it!

We also went to the Cumming fair this year. It was the first year that Caroline was tall enough to ride any of the rides and she made up for lost time! I think she rode every ride that she could and she loved it!

And last but not least, I thought I would post a pic on our growing boy! I'm 29 weeks pregnant now and we are getting really excited to meet our little man! So far this pregnancy has been great!

Burt's Pumpkin Farm!

This past Saturday Blake and I took Caroline up to the mountains for some fall fun! We saw tons of pumpkins, rode a hayride, had fried apple pies & boiled peanuts, and icy's to drink! Such a fun day!

It's a....

BOY!!! Blake and I went to the dr last week before we headed out of town for vacation to see what our little one is going to be! Blake is so excited to be having a little boy on the way! We can't wait to meet our little guy in five short months!

Summer catch-up

So, I've been horrible at blogging the past few months! Actually, I've been horrible at taking pictures because I've been so busy but I had some time this morning to download pictures from my phone and camera and found some cute ones from earlier in the summer! So, I thought I would share! Here's Caroline with her best friend Lilah! This was right before their end of the year performance at school! I love these two precious girls SO much!

Caroline's class and her teachers last year! We loved Miss. Stevi and Miss. Missy! And notice that it's a class with all girls and one boy! Sweet Liam calls all of the girls "his girls"!!

Caroline's first dentist appointment! I didn't get to take any pictures of her getting her teeth cleaned because she was SO clingy and only wanted to sit in my lap. So I had to lay down and she laid on top of me in order for them to clean her teeth. Once she was finished she was very proud of herself! She got a good report of no cavities!

Caroline swimming! She had so much fun this summer going swimming and was not scared of anything! She even ended up going down our big waterslide by herself with no float by the end of the summer!

For Blake's birthday, we took him to a Gwinnett Braves game and after the game they had the most amazing fireworks! We had a blast!

I bought Caroline a new bookbag and lunch box for school! I meant for her to start using it when her fall classes started but of course she's like her mama and when she sees something new she has to use it right away! This was us leaving school one day this summer! I almost cried the first time I saw her carrying her bookbag and lunch box. She just looks like such a big girl and I know it's just a couple more years until she starts Kindergarten. Where has time gone?!?

Towards the middle of July we had our annual Loudsville Campmeeting! Caroline stayed with my parents all week and was able to attend all of the fun programs at Campmeeting. Blake and I worked during the week but would go up there at night to visit! Campmeeting is some of my favorite summer childhood memories and I love seeing Caroline make the same! She loved it and loved hanging out with her cousins all week!

Baby Owen!

So, as you saw from my post below we are expecting baby Owen #2! We are beyond thrilled and excited! The baby is due on Caroline's 4th birthday in January! At first, I was a little sad about that and then I thought about how we can do double parties and only have 1 party a year and I got excited! Birthday parties stress me out so knowing that I'll only have to do one makes me happy! I know they won't always want their parties together but we can get away with it for a few years! So far this pregnancy has been pretty similar to mine with Caroline. I haven't been sick except for a little nausea but I'm extremely tired all of the time...hence the lack of updates on our blog! I literally come home most days and crash. My sweet Caroline is so awesome and will watch movies or play with her baby dolls while mommy rests! We go for another appointment next week and I'm excited to see how much our little one has progressed! And b/c I can't do a post without a pic of my sweet girl, here's some outtakes from our photo shoot with Jana Jackson. Jana is my co-worker and does an amazing job taking pics! We are so thankful Jana was able to capture this fun time with us!

Exciting News....

School Pics

Caroline had her school pictures taken a couple of weeks ago! "Three Pennies" worked hard all morning capturing all of the sweet kiddos and they did a great job! Caroline was a little more excited about twirling around in her princess dress than smiling at the camera but they got some good shots of her! Such a sweet girl!

PJ, pancake and polka dot b-day party!

Last weekend we went to a birthday party for two of Caroline's friends in her class. It was the cutest party ever! The theme was PJ's, Pancakes, and Polka Dots! We were given PJ's that were made just for the party! Seriously...the moms of the birthday girls made each child their own set of monogrammed PJ's. So stinkin cute! Caroline loved hers so much that she begged to wear them all day long! Here's some pictures that I took with my phone of the girls and their precious matching PJ's!
