So Blessed!

Have I mentioned how much I love this little girl???? She is the cutest, funniest, and most loving little girl.

Blake and I have a blast being her parents. God truly blessed us with such a wonderful gift!

The best part of my day is when she grabs my checks and gives me the biggest kisses and hugs!!!

Here she is cuddling up with her grand-daddy taking a nap!

Caroline...you are such a joy to our lives!!!

Party Time!

Maddox had his 6th birthday party today at Francis Meadows water park in Gainesville. That is an awesome water park. Too bad we couldn't enjoy it...right as we got in the lifeguards heard thunder so we had to get out and we weren't allowed to go back in b/c the storm cloud hung over us. We did get to enjoy their indoor pools though. Caroline had fun and got some kisses from this cute little guy.

Maddox's cool cake.

Caroline must have thought it was good...she was covered with cake once she was done eating it!

Here's some pictues or my little peanut enjoying herself!

And here's the birthday boy!

And here we are leaving...Caroline loves her great-granny and great-grandpa!

Happy Birthday Maddox!

My nephew turned 6 years old today. I remember the day he was born and can hardly believe that was 6 years ago. For his birthday, he got to go to Toys R Us and pick out some toys. Here he is with his loot.

Caroline got a little princess wand from the dollar section and was thrilled!

Then we went out to eat at a Japanese restaurant. Caroline hated it. She didn't like the fire or having them cook in front of her. She was tired and ill which didn't help. Needless to say, neither one of us ate much! I did manage to get one picture before the cooking started. You can tell that she is so not interested in Maddox's toys!

Then we went and did a build a bear. Caroline picked out a pink bear...go figure!

(Caroline has her eyes closed in this next pic but I thought it was really cute of Maddox!)

After a day of celebrating Maddox's birthday, Caroline was worn out. This is how we found her when we went to check on her before going to bed.

Maddox is having a pool party this Saturday and we can't wait. So more birthday pictures to come!

Father's Day 2010

Blake had a good relaxing Father's Day. We didn't do much since Caroline was getting over being sick and was still a little fussy. We went up to my parents house and spent the day up there...which is always fun! Caroline had piggy tails for the first time yesterday...they were so precious and she didn't bother them all day! Not sure if you can tell in the pictures but she had a special dress just for Father's Day. It says..."I'm Daddy's Girl"!

Blake is such a wonderful daddy to Caroline. She is so wrapped around his finger!

Roseola

This week has been rough for us. Caroline woke up Sunday morning with a high fever. So Monday I stayed out with her and took her to the dr. They checked her over head to toe and said that it's just a virus and that the fever should be gone by Wednesday. So, I stayed out with her Tuesday since she still had the fever but sent her onto daycare on Wednesday since neither Blake nor I could miss any more work. Well, I got called that afternoon to pick her up because she had a fever...go figure! So, Blake stayed out with her today and took her back to the doctor. This time we got an answer...thank you God! It's a Roseola virus. She broke out in a rash all over her body today and they said the fever should break soon but so far it hasn't. We are talking about fevers of 102-103...not fun. She's so pitiful when the fever comes on...tonight she layed on our kitchen floor while I finished cooking dinner. Just pitiful. I'm hoping and praying that the fever will go away soon. The rash is expected to stay anywhere from 1-4 days. Poor thing:(

So, no cute pictures to add to this post since we haven't done anything this week except for hanging out at home and sleeping. Caroline has slept so much with this virus. Today she took a nap from 10:30-3:15...almost my entire work day.

Hopefully the roseola virus will leave our house soon...like tomorrow would be great!!!

Wedding pictures

Audrey and Jordan's wedding was beautiful and so much fun. We had so much fun getting our hair done and then rushing to get ready before pictures. It was HOT outside yesterday and we all melted but it was such a special day!

Here's a before picture of the bridesmaids. None of us had make-up on yet...I promise we got prettier as the day went on! Audrey's not in this picture because it took the lady over 2 hours to do her hair. So, us girls had a little bit of our own fun making cute pictures!

Here's Audrey getting ready.

Before, during and after the wedding...

And in case anyone is wondering what Caroline did at her grandparents house with her cousin Kendall while mommy and daddy were gone...

I have such a girly girl!!! She was asleep when we got to my parents house last night and when she woke up this morning the first thing she did was look at her toes and said..."Awww...so pretty!". She's so proud that her grandma painted her toe nails. And I must say...they are precious!

Pool time and Rehersal Dinner!

Wow, we have had a busy week!!! It's been a fun week though! Today is Audrey's wedding and I can't wait! This wedding has been long awaited...they have been dating for over 7 years!

So, here are some pictures of the fun we've been having. I worked half a day on Wednesday and Blake had the day off so we took Caroline to the pool for an hour or so to play around.

Then, Blake and I got ready and went to rehersal dinner. Caroline stayed home with my parents and they had fun taking her out to Normans Landing restaurant (my favorite!). She must have enjoyed it because they said she ate 2 rolls, chicken fingers, and a whole serving of okra. Here's some pictures of the rehersal...

Here's where they will tie the knot! It's at Forrest Hills resort in Dahlonega, GA and it's beautiful and so peaceful. Of course they will have white chairs and more decorations out there the day of the wedding! It's going to be a blast...pray for no rain!

Me and Audrey

Me with the other 2 bridesmaids...they are the grooms sisters. They are SO much fun to be around.

Here's me and my man! The rehersal dinner was at the Oar House in Dahlonega...which is where Blake and I had our rehersal dinner almost 4 years ago. I wish I could find the picture that we took in the exact same spot to do a comparison but for now here's the "current" picture! Let me just say that the food was delicious. The best I've had in awhile.

More pictures to come this weekend....
