Relaxing Sunday

Yesterday, we had a wonderful relaxing day. I love rainy afternoons sitting in my P.J's and napping!

Our morning started off by going to church. Here's Caroline finally getting to wear one of her fall outfits! (technically she got this last spring but it's just now fitting her!)

*In this picture, I asked her to pick out a blankie to take to church with her. She went over to her blankies and picked out Froggy and Rabbit. I think she will make a great cheerleader when she gets older!


After church, we headed to Cleveland. We stopped at a fruit stand on our way up and got some green tomatoes, boiled peanuts, and fried apple pies. Yummy! I wish we had a fruit stand like this in Cumming, but at least we can enjoy it on our way to Cleveland every week!


We got to my parents house, had some lunch, and then we were all down for a nap! It was pouring outside and we slept so well! Caroline took a 3 1/2 hour nap.
(Yes, she is Miss Sassy these days!)


After naps and dinner, my mom decided to decorate some little pumpkins with Caroline. She bought enough for my niece and nephew to do some too. It was such a cute idea and after they all 3 got done decorating them, my mom put them around her house as fall decorations! Here's Caroline decorating her pumpkin.





We are so thankful for the cooler weather the last couple of days! Now we are looking forward to pumpkin farms and festivals!!!

Today, my mom and I took Caroline to see Seaseme Street live. We had SO much fun. Caroline had a blast waching Elmo.

I took these pics before we left. She was saying bye-bye and blowing me kisses!


Here she is walking with grandma into Phillips arena all excited! She kept saying, "xited, xited"! (her version of excited!)

When we got inside we met up with Caroline's friends from daycare. This is Caroline and Megan...they are in the same class together.



After we met up with Megan, we went to take pics with Elmo...well the cardboard cutout of Elmo! Except Caroline was terrified of standing near it so this was the best I could do.



Then the show started! Caroline was so mesmerized by everything. She sat in my lap so still...didn't move a muscle! She just wached everything and soaked it all in!








When the show was over she kept saying, "Bye-bye Elmo"! She crashed on the way home...she was worn out from meeting Elmo! It was such a fun day and I'm so thankful that we were allowed a chance to do something fun like this with her!

Elmo & Friends

I am SO excited right now I can hardly stand it. We are going to see Elmo on Saturday!!!


I had one of the mom's in Caroline's room at daycare leave me a note yesterday afternoon saying that she had 2 tickets to see Elmo live at Phillips Arena on Saturday. I had thought about taking Caroline to the concert previously b/c she LOVES Elmo but the tickets were out of our budget. So I was thrilled when I got the note yesterday. But then I remembered that we had a baby shower to go to on Saturday and that Blake works and he wouldn't be able to go so I didn't call the lady back. But something came over me this morning and I felt like I should call her b/c we never get to do fun things with Caroline and this is an opportunity of a life time. Well I'm thrilled that I called her b/c the tickets are FREE. Yes, free. And not only that but she has box/suite tickets! A few other kids from Caroline's room will be there too so it should be a blast! I'm so excited to have the opportunity to do something fun like this with Caroline!

Fun Day!

On Saturday, my moms sisters and their kids came to Cleveland to spend the day. We had so much fun seeing everyone and getting to catch up. I wish there was more time in everyone's lives to be able to get together more but since there's not, we enjoy every minute that we can! Here's some pictures of Caroline with her cousins...




I wish we had done a group shot before my cousin and her 3 kids had left but we didn't get a chance to. But, we did manage to get the rest of the group!

Neighborhood Friends!

Caroline LOVES the neighborhood kiddos. Tonight they were all dancing to "tween" music and riding their scooters and Caroline was doing everything they were doing. She tries so hard to keep up with them. These two girls are her favorite! Any time she hears them outside she runs to the door and starts shouting their names. They love playing with Caroline too and are so good with her.





It is such a blessing to have her grow up with such great friends!!!
